Insight#2: Attitude
In complex crossroads of life, some occasions - fatal, emotionally heavy, mind-blowing occasions - happen at very unexpected moments for us. When we least expect them to happen. It shakes our courage, takes away desire to live, and makes us lose our mental compass. No clarity forward in mind: only fog.
This is the time to choose:
~To move forward or be forever stuck in this drama.
~To let yourself overcome the circumstance or blame everything/everyone for what has happened.
This is the choice of attitude.
Can you change what has already happened? - No.
Can you return what was taken away? - No.
Can you make time go backwards? - No.
The only thing you can do is to change your attitude. Let me give you a real-life example:
Recently, I have discovered that one of my closest friends, whom I have known for almost a decade, has told me the biggest lie (again: when I least expected it to happen - especially from that person's side). It was shocking, and it really hurt my heart. I had 2 options: 1) either to blame my friend, and think that people are untrustworthy; 2) or to accept it as a valuable life lesson - with gratitude in my heart - and move on. I chose the second.
Anything might happen to anyone, and that is absolutely normal. Whatever happens - happens for our goodness, and we need to have this firm belief in our hearts.
I believe:
In the cruel world we live in, if you sincerely believe in good, do good, and tell good - people feel it, and you live with relief in your heart. I also believe: what is done by heart is definitely felt by heart of other people.
