Insight#3: "It was never between you and them anyway."

Image
There comes a moment in life when you are totally alone: no friends, no acquaintances, no one to talk to freely and share your concerns with. Only you and your thoughts. This stage is essential to invest in your skills, career growth and education, I believe. Consider it as an attention span given from above as a space for your development and level-up . Naturally, you start facing hardships in its all forms as well, because how ever greatness comes with ease, right? Here, it is important that you truly discover and comprehend your true self during this process: who are you? what are your values? what is your mission in this life? what good can you leave people after your death? - These are points to consider.  As you live and go up, and up, and up - slowly going to the top of the ladder - you care less about outer factors, and direct your lantern to the inside. In other words, people's words will not bother you, their opinions will not stop you from committing particular actions, ...

Insight#2: Attitude

Image
In complex crossroads of life, some occasions - fatal, emotionally heavy, mind-blowing occasions - happen at very unexpected moments for us. When we least expect them to happen. It shakes our courage, takes away desire to live, and makes us lose our mental compass. No clarity forward in mind: only fog.  This is the time to choose:  ~To move forward or be forever stuck in this drama. ~To let yourself overcome the circumstance or blame everything/everyone for what has happened. This is the choice of attitude . Can you change what has already happened? - No. Can you return what was taken away? - No. Can you make time go backwards? - No. The only thing you can do is to change your attitude. Let me give you a real-life example:  Recently, I have discovered that one of my closest friends, whom I have known for almost a decade, has told me the biggest lie ( again: when I least expected it to happen - especially from that person's side ). It was shocking, and it really hurt my he...

My beloved dear reader,   Good part of the day! No matter which part of the world you are in, I do hope that you are fine, happily living in your cozy own world. I am Nesrin Mahmud, amateur writer who has been passionate about writing for a decade, but kept her writings humbly to herself until this point. In this January day, I have experienced the first shock of 2026, and abruptly decided: if not now, when? – welcome to my page!   I thought for a long time about the content and style of my blogposts, but then came to the conclusion that: depending on that very moment. Whatever comes from the deepest part of my part will flow into this page in the form of words. Who knows, maybe one day, I become famous writer with millions of readers!   For the start, I want to share 15 insights from 2025 that changed my life - every other day.   Insight#1: Always listen to your heart. Whatever you feel is correct, because instincts never lie. Not everything is rational: there are ...

15-Minutes of Solitude

Image
I believe most of us are feeling chaotic these days. I don’t see the need to mention the reason, as our concerns can be so distinct from each other. Today, I want to share how I’m trying to find peace and energy within myself. This is actually a well-known notion; I’m rather naming it: “15 Minutes of Solitude”. It is about staying alone for 15 minutes (at least) and ordering your thoughts. Not reading alone, not cleaning alone – but just sitting and observing.  As much calm you feel yourself when you are alone – as mentally healthy, spiritually balanced you are. It is so common now that people “run” from one place to another, do everything and anything to not let themselves be alone. They are already so into this that they forgot a long ago why and how they started walking on this path, what they are seeking. This can be tragic.   Feeling chaos? – stay alone.  Without energy? – walk alone. Overthinking and depressing? – sit alone. Do nothing and just sit, stay or walk alo...

Attention Span and How It Helps To Avoid Boredom

Image
Have you also felt that it has been a convention to feel overwhelmed/overworked? We feel dissatisfied about what we are doing, we need more time, and think that we cannot devote ourselves to each aspect of life.  This is actually a miscomprehension of how the brain actually reacts/works. We can manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and succeed.  Then, how can we deal with this issue?  (Pinterest, no date) The answer is -  more attention span .  Remember when you reduced your screen time while preparing for significant exams because you needed to have more focus on your studies, more effort on them, and this is how the attention span works.  However, in most cases, we stay distracted, and unable to concentrate. This is not because of laziness or irresponsibility - it is our brain's likelihood to be distracted.   Our brains crave distraction. Distraction is not the enemy of focus - it may just lessen it. We can do homework (focus) and still listen t...

Irrational World.

Image
Have you ever thought about why some paintings are misunderstanding? Why are such pieces of art considered priceless and sold for millions of dollars? Art exhibition, Tashkent (2021) I ask myself such questions quite often and today, I found the answer: to puzzle out our thoughts!  Everything strange we have ever seen or listened - they are designed for moving our mindset from a rational world to an irrational one. But, what are rational and irrational worlds actually?  The rational world is the world we are living in, everything we can touch and see is its part - so we can call it "physical".  The irrational world is completely different - when we imagine, dream, think etc. a part of us - our spirit exists in the irrational world.  Imagine you visited an exhibition of a famous painter and have seen a lot of awkward paintings - are they really necessary for humanity? They are, because period when you look at them and try to comprehend the meaning behind them - this ...

My dear new reader, I welcome you to my special, cosy corner - my page.  As a girl who is delighted to share her thoughts and experience in the form of posts and letters, I decided to make another significant step in my life, and start my website blog (I have a channel on Telegram and a page on Instagram where I regularly share my vibes).  August is a special month for me. The time when summer is completed, but autumn has not started yet. Something between: when plans and decisions are made, goals are oriented, but actions are not taken yet. I was born in this month myself, and each summer in its last month, I end up doing something important, life-changing for me. I do hope this blog will be as special as it is to me.  Once again, welcome to a new, exceptional world. If only you knew how you are embraced here ) With endless love, Nesrin Mahmud.
